At Ergotech Group Environmental Concern is simple Common Sense
Concerns about how our products and practices impact the environment have always been a part of our efforts at Ergotech Group. You could even say that we were founded over ten years ago to conserve resources. Our very first products supported and enabled the use of smaller desks in work environments. Smaller desks mean less wood and steel used to manufacture the desk and less fuel used to deliver the desk…Common Sense.
The same product features and benefits that deliver value to our customers in the form of cost savings…deliver value to the environment.
· Durable– Almost every product we sell comes with a lifetime warranty. This is, without question, the best warranty in our industry. Products that last longer and do not get thrown away conserve the resources required for removal, replacement and disposal…Common Sense.
· Convertible and Expandable– Our products have the unique ability to convert and expand to meet the needs of many different monitor mounting configurations. Almost every competitive product currently on the market has limited use and requires replacement if the monitor configuration changes. If our competitors expect you to throw away a product and replace it when your needs change slightly, they are not reducing their impact on the environment…Common Sense.
· Sustainable – Our production facilities utilize high levels of recycled aluminum and steel whenever possible. All of our products are highly recyclable through common disposal practices. Many of our products can even support your efforts to earn LEED points during construction and retrofit. Using recycled materials during production and providing a product with a long life and easy recycling at the end of the product life significantly reduces a manufacturer’s impact on the environment…and it makes sense.
In addition to the Green elements of our products design and manufacture, we work hard every day to minimize our environmental impact. We utilize energy saving equipment throughout our offices and our sales team makes over 30% of their sales calls using mass transit.
After you strip away all the environmental marketing surrounding manufactured products and the pictures of plants and wild animals on company websites, the products you buy, and your behavior, have to make sense for the environment and the customer…for us…that’s Common Sense
